Canada Post Commemorative CPR 100th Anniversary Stamp Package

In celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the CPR's completion of the Transcontinental Railway on Nov. 23rd, 1885, at Craigellachie, B.C. Canada Post issued a number of special issue stamps during the spring of 1985 honoring the national railways from 1906-1925. This special issue 34 cent stamp features side profiles of a Grand Trunk class K2 4-6-4T locomotive and a CP class P2a 2-8-2 locomotive.

Very rare to find a sealed package of ten stamps as sold by Canada Post 29 years ago. Comes with a brief brochure about the stamps - see photo #2.
