CPR #5440 Locomotive Lithograph

This black and white 'wash drawing' was purchased from the CP 'Bygones' Shop in 1975. Class P2j #5440 was one of the last steam locomotives built for the CPR by Montreal Locomotive Works in June 1944 and was scrapped in April 1962 after only 17 years and 10 months in service.

These drawings are no longer available and are very rare in new conditon, as is this print. It is a finely detailed side elevation of #5440 done to the scale of 1/4 inch to a foot. It is printed on matte art paper, is two feet long and very suitable for framing. Print will be mailed in a heavy cardboard tube.
