Canadian Pacific's 'The New Highway to the Orient' published in 1896

The Canadian Pacific 'The New Highway to the Orient - Across the Mountains, Prairies & Rivers of Canada' soft cover brochure in extremely nice condition. No rips, a very minor tear at the top of the cover at the spine (see photo #1), very minor stain mark at the top of pages 17-24 (see Photo #2).   Spine in very good shape.   Some discolouration at the bottom of the cover and along the spine on the cover (see photo #1).  But all inside pages are in excellent shape. Published in Montreal in 1896. Front cover has an illustration of the Stony Creek Bridge in the Selkirk Mountains.  48 pages with illustrations from engravings and woodblock with Canadian scenes, passenger cars & coach interiors, hotels, rail lines, steam boats, maps and some highlight scenes along the Canadian Pacific mainline (see photos #2, 3 & 4).  Missing the two maps that were attached to the inside back cover but in amazing condition for a publication issued 118 years ago.  Measures 10.5" x 7.5"
