The locomotive was reclassified from ST7 to E5d. CP815 was renumbered to CP864. CP864 was changed January 1913: CP864 was renumbered to CP2064. It was scrapped April 1938 after 35 years and 8 months of service. Locomotive CP2064 was of class E5d.
This bell is from CPR locomotive 'Ten Wheeler' class E5d #2064 built in 1902 and is being sold 'as is' without a yoke assembly. I have had requests from potential customers to sell a couple of bells 'as shipped' to me from Canadian Pacific Railway back in the mid 70's. Bell will be shipped in it's original wooden crate. This bell shows some pitting on about one third of its outer surface (see photo #3). Bell has been lightly polished.
Bell dimensions: 12" high & 16" diameter at the rim, stem is 3" long and is 2 3/8" wide. Bell weighs approximately 110 lbs and the crate weighs approximately 45 pounds. Please contact for shipping estimate.
Please note that these bells have been lightly polished but most may have some nicks etc due to decades of use especially around the bottom rims of the bells.
