Canadian Pacific Railway News Agent Cap
(very rare – circa 1920's – bought directly from CPR in the mid 70's)
CPR exited the passenger train business in the early 1970's. They sold all of their silverware used in their dining cars and other miscellaneous items through their own retail shop "CP Bygones". This cap was new when bought and is still in its plastic bag and original box (taken out for photo purposes). Black cap with black plastic bill. Embroidered 'Canadian Pacific' script and 'News Agent' underneath. Size 6 1/2 with very high quality red satin inner liner. Has 'William Scully Uniform Equipment since 1898' imprinted on a clear plastic layer sewn into inner liner (see photo). A very high quality cap - Canadian union made. Has two vent holes on either side of the cap. Shipping fee includes insurance.
