This rare handbook, published by CPR in April,1949, is a hard cover booklet with 15 pages of instruction. First page states: 'The firing of an oil burning locomotive differs very materially from that of a coal burning locomotive'. The 2nd photo shows the title page with the CPR logo. Booklet also features a tri-panel fold out at the back of the book (see photo 3). Cover has canvas binding and the cover and title page show a couple of smudges due to handling, but all other inside pages are in excellent condition with no sign of wear.
