CPR Sleeping Car Porter's Uniform
Extremely rare. Very classy uniform. Medium grey in colour. This uniform was bought directly from the CP Bygones store in the mid 1970's. Prior to purchase, the uniform had been dry cleaned by CPR. Suit jacket is the newer 3 button version and is size 42 and pants are size 36 with pant length 31" long at the inseam.
Jacket has ornate CPR logos on both lapels (see photo #2) and a watch pocket on the right side of the jacket above the normal pocket. Jacket has embossed CPR buttons on the jacket - buttons are of two sizes (see photos #3 & 4). Jacket also has a black stripe above each cuff (see photo #3) to match stripe on each pant leg (see photo #5). The pants have one small 1/4" diameter hole in front of left pocket (may be a cigarette burn?) but could be mended (see close up photo #6). Size of hole is only visible if very close but not visible if wearing jacket.
