In celebration of Steam Expo '86, the organizers commissioned a number of official items for sale during this very special rail fan event. Steam Expo ran for ten days in late May and early June 1986, in the CN yards just east of the Expo '86 site. This seller operated the on site Merchandise Concessions. The event featured the largest gathering of live steam and replica locomotives since the Rail Fair in Chicago in 1948. Steam Expo opened with a Grand Parade of Steam on the Vancouver waterfront. The Steam Expo site opened the same day and ran for ten days. This is the Official Program for Steam Expo. It includes 28 pages of photos and descriptions of all the attending locomotives and is highlighted by four pages of colour photos. There are only a very small number of these available for sale.
