Canadian Pacific Railway Silver Plated Bar Service Tray

(very rare – circa 1920's – bought directly from CPR in the mid 70's)

CPR exited the passenger train business in the early 1970's. They sold all of their silverware used in their dining cars through their in-house store called "CP Bygones". Item was purchased directly from CP Bygones and stored for 30+ years. This silver plated 10" diameter serving tray was used for coffee or bar service in their dining cars. Underside of tray engraved "Elkington Plate" with the "E & Co" crown above with item number "14146".. CPR scripted logo in middle of the tray (see photo). Dates back to the 1920's-1930's. Item was quadruple plated and has stood up well for its decades of use. Has some minor scratches and some small pitting (see close up photo). Also some very small dents along the inner rim. Overall in nice original condition. Buy in confidence with a 100% rated seller. Shipping fee includes insurance.
