(Bought directly from CPR in the mid 70's)
CPR exited the passenger train business in the early 1970's. They sold all of their silverware used in their dining cars through their 'in house' shop called "CP Bygones". This was purchased directly from CP Bygones by this seller and stored for 35 years.
This pair of sugar tongs are 3.5" long with fork shaped ends and have the CPR script logo on both sides of the handle (see photo #2). This type of tongs was used for serving 'cut loaf' sugar. This pair is original and not replated but is in excellent condition considering their age.
